Fundamental gauge
Driven by the 0–100 Wealthy score and our consensus fair-value upside. A stock with a high score and meaningful upside vs price lands in strong_buy; a low score with negative upside lands in strong_sell.
Technical gauge
Trend (SMA-50/200), momentum (RSI-14, MACD), and breadth confirmation. We weight recency — what the price is doing this week matters more than last quarter.
When they disagree
Quality and timing won't always agree. A great business with a falling chart might be a buying opportunity — or a leading indicator of trouble. We surface the disagreement explicitly so you don't treat the combined gauge as a single number to trust blindly.
